• Yuletide is rumbling ahead with Nominations open.
• Pillowfort has secured funds for contiuned upkeep until Feb, 2025. (It's still hanging in there!)
• duckprintspress has made a Kinks Your October prompt list.
• fandomgiftbasket's deadline is approaching, and there are still a lot of empty baskets—the spreadsheet now includes gift numbers per baskets.
• Watch Aikāne, an animated film inspired by queer native Hawaiian love. (via aftselakhis-shaladin on PF)

Can't say I'm surprised to hear about Cohost, but I do hope its loss becomes partly PF's gain. It's such a nice little site.

And Dreamwidth's! It is sad to lose more diversity in terms of sites with similar goals, but hopefully people who liked Cohost try out some other indie sites before going back to bigger social media.

it is. It's always a bit of a stomach drop to see those first round numbers and see more than half have nothing. There are a few more I can do if I have time (I'm up against like 3 other challenges right now)
