there's just not enough time, darn it

A lot of stuff are happening on the exchanges side of things right now, and I need to be choosy because (horrified gasp) I can't do everything.

Nominations are open for sufficiently_advanced_ex right now, and sign-ups open soon for both idproquo, the_mane_event and hurtcomfortex. Money Bags Flash Exchange is running on deusexchange and is doing both nominations and sign-ups now.

So.

Hmm.

I've already signed up for Money Bags because I had an idea for a Lan Qiren/Wen Ruohan fic and I was like I must have this so that's a done deal. I might do Id Pro Quo? I haven't looked through the freeform tags so it probably depends a little bit on what others request, if I spot something I really wanna write? We'll see.

I won't be doing The Mane Event because while it sounds fun, I am prioritizing it lower (I'm already signed up for space_swap so gotta remember to write that) and I'm uncertain about Hurt/Comfort Ex. Like, I'm not actually sure I can write it? I've only ever made one attempt to write H/C on purpose and I am genuinely not sure if I succeeded. So I keep going back and forth on if I really wanna do that one or not.

The challenge with sufficiently_advanced_ex is that I don't know how many book fandoms I know that fit in there that I like, can actually write for. I guess it depends on how nominations end up; what I can try my hand at.

The thing to keep in mind is that I also wanna do fandom5k if it runs this year so I don't wanna commit to too many things.

And now I am just like. In the process of trying to narrow things down but if I narrow them down too much I might sign up for nothing, lol. (Although then I could do treats/pinch hits without pressure, so maybe that's the way to go.)
