holiday wishlist XD

Alright! I'm too shy to shove this at holiday_wishes, but I thought of a few things *blush*

• Dreamwidth Points: I want more icon slots! To my understanding for that I need to 1) buy extra slots and 2) have a premium account? Like, the extra slots are only usable if the account is premium? Did I get that right? So DW points!


• Help promoting tinyfandomflash and hcfest around Dreamwidth (and other places!). I've promoted TFF on a few comms around here before but don't remember when or where, LOL, and hcfest has never been promoted anywhere. I can't find any spoons for that, sigh.


• Recs for sci-fi books! Please note that I'm not always in the headspace for books with female POVs/main characters; I'm generally fine with being mistaken for a woman in real life but the idea of playing a female character in a video game or reading a female POV in a book sometimes makes me wanna scream. Like just. Ouch. :( (I don't know why my brain is like this.)


• Anything from my wishlist! It's mostly books; I like books XD


• I have a Kindle these days, which means I sometimes actually use the US Amazon kindle store. I've been wondering about the Amazon gift cards for the .com store and if they'd work for my ebook purchasing. I don't know what the minimum amount of money you need to put in the gift cards is, but if anyone is willing to help me experiment, PM me for the email :D


• I tag wrangle on SqWA sometimes, and lately have been having a lot of fun slowly changing all the parenthesis' to brackets (that's what SqWA prefers according to the wrangling guidelines) in the fandom tags! But it's a lot harder finding all the tags with parenthesis in them when they're not handily available in a browsing page. If you spot any tags with parenthesis in them while using SqWA, please give me the link/name of the tag! I genuinely am having a blast with this, but I'm almost out of fandom tags to fix :(
