1 - a jagged tooth, a noise just out of sight, something looming above
2 - the gloaming willows, the scattered howling, the bloodied stars
3 - the stench of blood, of rotten things in the ground, of maggots in the ceilings and of skeletons in the cupboards
4 - a creeping underground, a tomb unlocked, a darkness descending
5 - smoke drifting on the wind, faded pictures on the walls, creaking floors and loose hinges
6 - a gaping maw, a ferocious snarl, a beating of the heart
7 - the damnation of the saved, the sacrilege of the abyss, the sanctimony of the bones
8 - of branches broken on the road, of bridges burned, of lamps unlit and of graves unturned
9 - a requiem of beasts, a soliloquy of haunts, an eulogy of deaths
10 - roots digging through the basement, dead leaves on the porch, windows shattered and ivy clinging to tilting walls
11 - a bird’s call, a towering of wind, a hill of depths unknown
12 - the chill of winter nights, the lights of stars unkind, the crunching of skeletons bound
13 - deep below, deeper than any below, far deeper than any below and still below the below
14 - it’s a trick of the light, it’s the wailing of the sorrow, it’s the grip on reality, it’s the spinning of the earth, it’s the loss of the shadows, it’s the weariness of the eerie
15 - the hour of the clock, the ticking of the line, the dead of the morrow
