I do that with rhymed, metered verse. Much of what I write nowadays is free verse, but I still love form poetry.

Funny thing about audiences, they can be totally different on different services for no discernible reason. Over on AO3, my audience loves fiction and is largely indifferent to poetry. But Dreamwidth it's the opposite, they love poetry and only occasionally show interest in fiction.
